He was operated on as an infant and that fucked him up. He refused to be touched and held and developed selective mutism because of the move to the US and the difficulty interacting with other kids. He was bullied all throughout his life and the mutism got even worse. He didn't see a future for himself because he couldn't fit in and function in society as an adult. He took that out on the people at his college wanting to at least be rememberd for something like his idols Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, who he saw as downtrodden martyrs. He fumbled a few interactions with women and had the police called on him several times, which led to the belief that he fucked his life up even more than it already was.
