It probably has to do with the last week's session too where I said I fear dying without ever having sex and today when I denied (probably a little to energetically in comparison to my behavior) that having sex wouldn't trigger my OCD, after he suggested that it could be the case. I'm kind of ashamed because he is right.

>>84577088In my case I avoid touching in anything that is greasy or oily because it is too dirty and hard to clean and the tactile sensation is awful, so it is stressful when objects or people's hands are greasy. It also makes food uncomfortable, any fried thing or something that is oily or have meat. Restaurants release grease in the air and it always dirts me. I avoid touching things if my hands are greasy, especially my PC and my glasses, that are kind of my special objects. I also have OCD with my glasses. If they are dirty due to grease (that significantly dirt the lens) or too much dust I will not watch anime until the glasses feels clean. This was worse before treatment: because my glasses would quickly dirt again after I cleaned them and because cleaning it could not be effective (not clean enough or even smudge dust, making it worse) and I didn't want to watch anime with dirty lens, since this would be a kind of filter that would significantly change the colors of the anime (and that was important because I want to see the true colors of an anime, just how the director and color designers intended to). So, because of that I stopped watching anime and manga and visual novels, even light novels I couldn't read because my lenses were too dirty for looking at the illustrations. And this brought me a kind of void and angst because watching anime was my passion, my favorite thing. After treatment I am slightly more tolerant to that and now I'm trying to go back to watch anime, I still want to be as passionate as I once was. OCD is esteriotipically stupid ("ew, germs!") but it is a disorder that can destroy your life and bring you a lot of distress. I learned that people are hospitalized due to OCD and that there are cases where people are damaged in life by how restraining their case are.
