Friendlessness IS a political issue that you SHOULD be angry about. You ARE entitled to friendships and a community regardless of what anyone says. Hitler had friends, pedophiles have friends, drug lords have friends, and so should you. Screw what anyone says.

The government refuses to issue me a friend license

So how do we reverse the decline of social connections?

but this isn't /pol/ you spamming retard

>You ARE entitled to friendships and a community
No you aren't. It takes two tango. You can't demand people to befriend you.
>>
>>84576875
Hitler was a smart and charismatic guy who made many big changes for the better in German society. Of course he had friends who shared his vision. Drug lords have people who kiss up to them because they're powerful but they have to constantly watch their back. You cannot have close friends if you're a drug lord. Pedophiles are friends with other pedophiles but only because they more often than not live in segregated communities with other pedophiles once they get out of prison and are forced to be roommates with each other, work the same jobs as each other, and attend group therapy meetings with each other.

what kind of nonsense is this OP?
you sound bitter.
touch grass.

I have seen this book shilled on multiple boards and countless youtube videos, I wonder if anyone had actually read it
>>
>>84576996
so what do you do then?
>show up and try to talk to people - they don't want to know you
>wait for people to talk to you - it never happens
At what point is it reasonable to start demanding structural changes?
>>
>>84576875
You're not. The problem lies in the illusory breaking of social boundaries that came with the internet.
Used to be
>Do something cringe
>Move towns and never speak about it
>Clean slate
or
>Everyone are assholes in this town
>Move to a different town
>chance of everyone being assholes is lower

Friendship comes with surrounding yourself with people who like you. You are not entitled to have people like you. You earn that by being born with a personality they like, or being hot.
The shallowness of this statement doesn't disprove it, because people by-and-large are retarded and shallow.

At no point. You can't have everything you want.

american society is anti-friend by design but I'm not going to waste energy specifically getting mad about it
>>84577326
i've only studied excerpts but it seems to have a point
>>

>american society is anti-friend by design This. Look up an article called "Man, the lonely animal". Tocqueville argued this state of solitude is one of the dangers of a democratic age.
>>
making friends is fucking hard, i'm a sensitive person and people are cruel and dishonest. everyone's gotten meaner and more jaded bc the world is getting worse so it's not even a good time.
>>
>>84577521
>You can't have everything you want.
>asks for one thing

The real problem is that communities don't form in the first place anymore. It IS weird to cold approach a stranger in attempt to befriend them. You were supposed to be given a rich community full of connections from infancy.

Can we demand that governments and corporations stop sabotaging civic life, demolishing public spaces, and intentionally driving a wedge between people?
Can they ask that they stop disenfranchising us, and taking away our ability to attract women and have families?
>>
It really isn't, you're free to be friendless, if that's what you want and it's what most of you want.
>>
>>84577757
The government, Bill Gates and Elon Musk are not why people don't like your personality.
>>
>>84577829
People don't even know my name, bro. They haven't gotten a chance to meet my personality.
>>
>>84577814
it's not what I want. I want people to like me, and I want to belong to a community.
>>
>>84576875
Damn, you're kinda right. There are pedos and murderers in prison with friends, and we are allowing average normal hard working people to not have them? Everyone in prison should 100% be in an isolation cage and not allowed to see or interact with other humans. I don't have friends? A criminal shouldn't have them either. Come to think of it, I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to watch TV all but one hour this week. They should have less than 1 hour of recreation per week.
>>
>>84576875
>entitled
Maybe, maybe not. Many robots have given up meeting people and so they don't meet those who would be good friends for them. Giving up being different from taking a break to go back at it rejuvenated.
>angry
Energy you can channel into improving your immediate situation/surroundings. Remember that much of the degradation we see was funded. So making the boring efforts to get the funding to overcome these matters is at least an option. For now.
