When I was young I found it satisfying to crack these. Then at some point I started feeling uncomfortable in my hands and like I needed to crack them to feel good, but it never worked. But I would do it all the time, and then my parents told me it was bad and would give me arthritis or something, which made me even more nervous, but I kept doing it.
I learned all the ways to crack my hands, then started going to toes, larger foot segments, the ankle, the knee, the elbow, the back and neck, and even in rare cases I could crack my hips/pelvis.
Overtime I actually lost the ability to crack my pointer fingers by pushing them straight up and back, which was how I started off doing them, and could only crack them by pushing down clenching them. Nowadays I can only crack my ring and pinky the way I used to do my whole hand.
Atleast I don't usually feel nervous about it like I used to.
