How old were you when your parents let you play M for Mature/18+ games?

I don't think I've ever owned an M-rated game in all my 25 years of gaming

Like 16. Sometimes I got away with it because my mom didn't inspect the box, but once the GameStop wagie ratted me out and my mom started checking from then on. It was LA Noire and she told my mom it had dead naked women in it.

You would not be able to get your grandpa to understand Eurojank like STALKER. No way. Also, Planescspe definitely has way more mature writing than freaking Call of Duty.

i'd just ask to rent stuff and sometimes i'd be surprised with the results.

>quake
>shadow man
>spawn eternal
was never able to persuade my mom to rent clock tower for me
