At what point does my lousy life become my fault? Your life is pretty much decided by what kind of people brought you into it so if I have a piece of shit family and parents that failed to raise me am I wrong to do the bare minimum and hope my life gets better without taking any sort of initiative.
>>84586441Honestly, I would say when you hit adult hood you have more control over you as a person and your personality. It obviously takes work and it takes time to fix it but it can be done. It just takes years.
>>84586454The problem is whether its even worth it. Objectively, where do I stand as a 25 year old khhv living with a father that doesnt love me works min wage no car no friends and no other family. What kind of life can I build without dying from stress or suicide. What kind of end result is realistically worth working towards for a defective.
>>84586486My take, anon. Life has to get worse before it gets better. I'm thinking about getting another job since my first one isn't giving me shifts. And as for friends and family. I don't have that either besides my mom and gf. I'm too socially retarded. Life gets worse, but you have to work at it if you want change.
>>84586441It becomes your fault the second you realize it's an issue
>>84586521I realized my lousy life was an issue when I was 6
>>84586506>Life has to get worse before it gets betterOldest cope in the book. The reality is that life is what it is. If life is shit it will be shit until it changes to something other than shit. If you try to self improve life isnt going to start improving, more problems will simply arise and as long as you keep fixing them you'll feel like you're making progress but you really aren't you're just giving yourself more work and more stress under the false hope that you'll succeed but it takes more than one person to succeed and it takes more than hard work.
>>84586610I gotta try somehow. I refuse to rot.
>>84586624not trying doesn't mean you have to rot. Imo life should be treated like a shitty job. Put in as much effort as it's worth, the same way you wouldn't go above and beyond for a minimum wage job
>>84586441How lousy your life is isn't your fault or within your control. How hard you try is.
>>84586441>am I wrongRather than (You) it's more that the strategy is, if not wrong, then far from the best you can do for yourself.
>>84586441from the day you choose to take agency over itotherwise it remains your parents' fault because they brought you into this world and didn't teach you to take agency over your lifethat's how I see it
>>84586441Past a certain age, it's all on you my niggaI feel like 21 is the sweet spotLegally, you're allowed to do almost everythingSo why not do almost everything?
>>84586441The moment you become aware of your issues they are your responsibility, your unwillingness to take steps to fix things are why things are the way they are. knowledge comes at a cost
>>84586441>At what point does my lousy life become my fault?Technically never. You never requested to be born, in this time, to those parents, in this socio-economic situation. All you can really do is choose how you react to your life and its circumstances through self-reflection. Whether you act or not to change things isn't really up to you. You either will or you won't.
