>relatives talking in a room near you
>family member walks by and starts talking
>put on headphones and blast music full volume so you don't have to hear anything

Anybody else do this or am I just autistic?

Do you have abusive family members by chance? If not you migbt be either high anxiety or super autistic my dude senpai

It doesn't always happen but it's killing me to overhear people when I don't want to
I have songs I like to play when that happens, short or no pauses and loud enough so I don't hear fragments and speculate what they say
>>
highk do this all the time but tbf it's because my family talks abt me a lot

I wouldn't call them abusive, but whenever I talk about my family dynamics with civilians they all look at me with either pity or fear. I'm sure if I talked to a therapist about it they would call it abusive, but I would disagree.

It feels awkward because if they are talking about me, I don't want to hear it if they think I'm not supposed to hear or understand the conversation.

Or if they are just talking about our house or stuff, I don't want to hear that either
