Contrarianism works because 99% of the time anything that gets popular is shit because the goyim masses love shit.I'm only a casual weeb, so I haven't noticed Chainsaw Man being particularly popular with foids, but I think this is one of the few exceptions where something can be both popular and good. Shounen always has a mediocre vibe to it, so I'm not going to outright defend it as some sort of pinnacle of entertainment, but it's a fine watch. Definitely something I would have enjoyed more if it came out when I was a teenager.
