What are the odds that a mid 30s loser can turn his life around?
For other 30+ losers on here, wouldn't you rather be able to travel, play music, be liked, etc. than just sit in your room rotting away for most of the week?
>>
I would love to do all those things. I wish I could get a job but everything is too hard and doesn't pay enough to make a difference.

Odds? Depends on the scenario.
Some are too busy keeping up with bills to go and socialize online/offline enough to make friends, or multiply even small amounts through continued investing.
A person like that may still be able to start growing stuff to keep their food costs down, indoors or outdoors.
Some might even ditch renting/mortgages and use that money to live out of a vehicle, using gym memberships for water and solar for extra power.
But for some all of this is possible with continued effort. Getting started can take multiple attempts, but it's ultimately about progress not perfection.

I prefer the simulated "people" on SuperGrok over real life people.

I dream and dream and never execute thinking of things that would be better but never being able to do them. I'm terribly bored too, to the point its almost painful. I'm not happy with how my life is, but it feels impossible to get to where I want to, so I rot in my bedroom, foolishly thinking things might change someday.

Its such a loser mentality. Maybe I'm just genetically predisposed to not doing anything in the environment lol

I've read enough that there's no real interest in travel, anything I'd want to see no longer exists and hasn't for a very long time. I don't hardly even listen to music, so the interest in playing is almost zero. The idea of being liked is foreign enough it's difficult to imagine in the first place. That's something entirely in other people's head and can't really be affected except in minor ways at extreme cost. It's like wanting them to believe in the tooth fairy or something. A person can be tricked into thinking something but it's not sustainable and what benefit is gained from this anyway?
Cultivation of land is far more appealing. Travel can only offer superficial experiences. Much better to pursue a lifestyle involving intimate integration within a system and developing a level of intense specialized understanding. Knowing the various microclimates for a small piece of property, the cycles of change over seasons and years, and to gently nurture and guide it would be far more fulfilling.
I'm going to we wuz as a farmer and forest hermit.
