I am kinda not enjoying rhythm games. It feels like I actually need to use my brain when playing this.In metroidvanias, Souls-like, roguelikes, action rpgs and turn based rpgs at least I can play without using a single cell in my brain, buth rhythm games require too much focus from me.I hate this shit. Anyone else find rhythm games too much for them?

Rhythm games are very annoying to play
Dark Souls started to feel like a rhythm game, it is really. It gets boring after a while, there's nothing satisfying about dancing perfectly over and over again, that's why people dance in front of crowds.

>>84595836I actually prefer demon's souls to be honest and I just like the setting more and it has this like dream feeling idk how to explain really but it has a very similar vibe to shadow of the colossus and ico (two of my favorite games) and dark souls 1 was just a well made game, it was fun to explore the levels and find your way out, this and demon's souls had kind of a dungeon crawler feeling that it's completely lost in all these dark souls clones. the combat was nice and simple but it wasn't the main appeal for me at all,now all these dark souls clones are about one upping each other with super difficult (but not in a fun way) boss fights and that's just lame to me. I like difficult games but these games are difficult in a very unfun way.
