> don't like cold meat.
cold meat like deli meat? Interesting, but again as you said
>I don't think I've met anyone who's been outright maliciou
i'd say that's fortunate but honestly not even sure. Most harm people do is accidental and caused by over emotion where as genuinely cold people who operate more on utility to the point they're lizard like don't usually have a need to be outright harmful to you, so it is what it is

>>84591175
> treat the game part as dress up, which isn't exactly fair.
there has to be enough of a game for there to be any appeal. Most games you pay for suck these days anyway, which is why I say I have no problem giving money to a gacha game that puts out content I want and isn't making me pay upfront, just gotta be reasonable
>what do the stars mean? are those related to the level?
stars define the base stats when you start a new career run (you choose the uma you want). The starting starss when you pull also denote rarity. The hard to pull ones start out at 3 star, but even 1 and 2 star umas can be upgraded over time to improve starting stats in career mode.
>o distract myself.
lots of people do stuff like this. Our ways are better than say drinking like a lot of people do
>there is. just overlaps more often than not.
I think it did more so in the past. I think contemporary weeb vs nerd culture is a little less transfer between the two, with me finding weeb way easier to deal with than nerd. Think it's the normalization of things like comics, D&D, western nerd stuff etc, wheras a lot of weeb stuff is still too much for a lot of people
>we do deserve total annihilation if that happens.
people are welcome to like what they like, unless what they like is funko pops. They get no human rights. It's a bastardization of chibi for people who probably wanted something like an anime figure, but find any potentially sexual characteristics problematic.

Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Sorry if I missed anyone from the last thread.
I spent some time today making a little homepage for my family on the server. Now I'm looking for some more stuff to host.

>>84597223
>probably a couple of months
You've gotta get one ASAP. Pizza deficiencies are deadly.
>they're just not tasty?
Yeah. For some reason most of the time they just taste a bit off. I think it's the cheese. You can get nice cheese here, they just choose not to.
>maybe you shouldn't check it out for your own safety
I'm sure one slice can't hurt...
>I'll look around and think about it
Let me know your thoughts. No pressure to give a complete stranger that kind of info.

>>84597717
>and probably pricey as well when it's a tourist trap
Yes. It's not too egregious all things considered. The one not in the tourist trap is a bit more reasonable.
>how are you trying to deal with those situations?
I just kind of wing it and hope I don't look like too much of an autist. In theory this is a skill I've been training my whole life. Fortunately this gets masked a lot as I'm a foreigner.
>i had a customer cough in the hand they were holding the money in and hand it to me
Is it possible to do your job without rapidly losing faith in humanity?
>oddly specific thing to remember
I'm not sure why I do. I just remember it splashing on the exam paper and immediately feeling very sheepish.
Have you got any memories like that?
>at that point you just start realizing you can just go to a hardwarestore and browse more direct solutions
Mail bombs are probably a lot easier to make. Do you have any procedures if you suspect a customer handed you one?

>>84597852
>It's always nice to have something to look forward to
It is. This was kind of impromptu (only decided a few days before) but it's something I'd floated for a while. It was good fun. But today I realised that I accidentally bought the tickets three times... I have low hopes for a refund.

For what it's worth, my UK student loan is currently sitting at 100k and haven't paid a penny of it back yet. It's a pretty steep tax at worst and at best completely avoidable if you move countries like I have.

>>84603590
>cold meat like deli meat?
Yeah. It's it's not at least a little warm I'm not touching it.
>Most harm people do is accidental
Also true. I suppose the means don't really matter so much if the ends hurt bad enough...
>>
its been a while since i last cut. i really want to again but every time i do its so disappointing i want catharsis i want huge gaping wounds but i never do. life has been so stressful lately my brain feels like its about to implode i got so scared and stressed earlier i nearly passed out.aaaaaaaaaaaaa i regret having such shitty future planning ive been too busy trying to kill myself all the time. and i really wish i could talk to my friends about my feelings, last time i really opened up to someone and got emotionally close with someone it ended horribly, he got mad at how sad and mentally ill i was all the time and thats fair i can understand how someone gets sick of it but damn i live like this. i worry that i am or the things i deal with are too gross or off putting to tell about other people, that maybe they will find me too disgusting or horrible if they can see me so closely. i am going to sleep now probably
>>
>>84603590
>Most games you pay for suck these days anyway
as sad as it is, i agree. they either suck or i don't care for them. glad there's at least some indie-games i can enjoy.

>I have no problem giving money to a gacha game that puts out content I want
completely fair and reasonable. need to give people who create what you enjoy money. simple as.

>just gotta be reasonable
not so easy for some people, which is my biggest problem with these games and why i don't want it in games i play.

>stars define the base stats when you start a new career run
ah, ok. so it's not just a rarity thing, but influences the game as well. so you can get the same character at different levels when you roll for them?

>Our ways are better than say drinking like a lot of people do
maybe. not feeling great about it atm, though.

>with me finding weeb way easier to deal with than nerd.
i have to admit i don't see the difference, but maybe that's more of a local thing or because i don't really interact with any and just look at both fandoms from a certain distance.

>Think it's the normalization of things
i do see your point. like soulless funko pops versus anime figurines. one's just more acceptable in the public eye than the other.

>It's a bastardization of chibi for people who probably wanted something like an anime figure, but find any potentially sexual characteristics problematic.
they could just get those pricier collectors action figures at least... funko pops just remove anything enjoyable about the designs, replace it with nothing and call it a day. must obviously be doing something right, but i don't get it.

>>84603900

> It's not too egregious all things considered. The one not in the tourist trap is a bit more reasonable
it's a treat anyway, but good you found an alternative. what pizza do you usually get?

>I just kind of wing it and hope I don't look like too much of an autist
i don't think most people think much about how you act anyway. at least it isn't on their mind for long.

>Fortunately this gets masked a lot as I'm a foreigner.
lucky youm usually people just think i'm an asshole or that i don't like them.

>Is it possible to do your job without rapidly losing faith in humanity?
nope. retail kills every shred of good will you might have left towards humanity.

>Have you got any memories like that?
probably, but those are shy and definitely don't come to mind when asked about them. one very specific thing is that i played a game of magic the gathering against a friend. a certain card flashed up in my mind as i was going to draw and it actually ended up being that card. i don't think the moment would have stuck with me if the card hadn't been uterly useless in the current situation. like hoping for a card that helps and then drawing it is one thing, but seeing the card clearly in your mind and then drawing them even though it doesn't do anything for you is a bit strange.

>Mail bombs are probably a lot easier to make. Do you have any procedures if you suspect a customer handed you one?
at least of you've got the skills needed. probably the same as with any other dangerous material. leave the store and call the appropriate hotlines or institutions. in that case probably the police. the biggest issue is that if they don't outright tell you it's a bomb or they looks like a complete nutjob, there's no way to tell. every package that leaves the country is checked for things that aren't allowed to be send, so they'd probably find out rather quickly, but there's no such safety measures for national deliveries. worst thing someone tried to send from my shop was a living fish. your not allowed to send vertebrates, but luckily they had their phone number on the box. i only noticed because it was dripping water and rattling from time to time...

>>84604810
hi anon. sorry to hear it ended that way. i also learned that it's best to not tell people that are close to you absolutely everything. it's best when you have someone of a certain distance or a professional you can talk about these things with. you can always try to share things here if you like, but we're still on 4chan, so might not be the worst idea to somewhat filter what you want to reveal. anyways, hope you sleep well. i'm going to head to bed, too.

good night.

appreciate you putting AoT in "Fine" I don't think it was bad. What's with Tokyo Ghoul? I think the biggest problem that had is the anime was shit compared to the manga

>my UK student loan
reading all this makes me glad I'm on the low side of American student loan debt. I had 50k fresh out which is nothing compared to a lot of people
> It's it's not at least a little warm I'm not touching it.
fair enough. It is interesting to think about now... since most meat being cold is gross (wouldn't want cold steak) but cold meats on sandwiches seem normal

>>84605480
>glad there's at least some indie-games i can enjoy.
i should probably check out more of these myself if i get back to an actual game playing mood
>not so easy for some people,
the thing with them is that a lot of them have some pity system built in. Umamusume if you don't get the featured one after 200 pulls, you get it next pull. Nikke gives you special in game currency that lets you buy the featured if you have enough of it and you get that currency by pulling on the banners. Which means they make it so the guy who just really really wants his one specific waifu can get her if you save for it no matter what (and even spending money if you need extra pulls will eventually get you it that same token) so I don't think it's as bad with that in mind. People who roll every banner are the min max people who want to have the best stats on the leaderboards, not the people who love a specific anime girl
>get the same character at different levels when you roll for them?
not exactly, it's tied really to character/skin. Some of the lower star ones have special skins that you pull independently that are ranked 3 star and nothing is random or anything if that makes sense.
>>
>>84605480
>admit i don't see the difference
I typed up a response to this, but then decided not to post it. I'll just reference the time Larian got all worked up that everyone was making their characters white looking human men in Baldurs Gate 3 and that's along the lines of where I was going. Anime fans are either casual or not that bad. Feel a lot of nerd/fantasy stuff has gotten very annoying, I don't see it with anime IRL hardly at all but always with anything else.
>. must obviously be doing something right
fact they are stripped of anything is part of the appeal I feel. Having anime figures is seen as weird, but there's nothing aesthetically appealing about a pops though, so no weird connotation. Plus they made them of literally fucking everything and they're cheap. Can show you like X thing by getting a pop with the respective coat of paint. All this complaining reinforces how much I love nendoroids. Bought a few more of these lately and may be my favorite brand of any type of figure period

hi yu
>how's it coming along?
idk, it feels like everytime I finish something I read it over and realize, this was dumb.
>can you explain what the tiers mean or what your thought process is?
Yeah, I'm listing the worst endings from worst to okay. I put Game of Thrones season 8 in S teir because of it's weird knock on effect to all other asoiaf adaptations. I have nothing to put next to it yet.
A teir has the most varity of reasons. Chris chan was because his life stopped being interesting and then became a criminal case before he dissapeared. It has nothing to do with the quialty of documantary. Seven Deadly frames was placed for rapidly dropping animation, same for one punchman. Lost was, well lost.
B teir was everything that was clearly designed for mass appeal and won no body.
C teir was named for CSM part 2 genuinely feeling like an aurther crash out. So this became all the wild crash and burns regardless of reason.
D teir was just things that dropped in quility to the point I stop watching.
What was things that kept the same vipe going, it just had a wackly contrived ending.
E was general crowd pleasers that are reasonable to critize.
Stephen king was good example of fine for me. All his endings are the same, the heros go home and the evil is gone. I can't really argue against it, it just gets flack for not being as thrilling as the rest of the book.
>>84605946
hi office anon
>appreciate you putting AoT in "Fine" I don't think it was bad.
Yeah, I added AoT just because some people complained. There was like a little confussion going on, but it's fine. what more could you hope for.
>What's with Tokyo Ghoul? I think the biggest problem that had is the anime was shit compared to the manga
The manga is the better version by a long shot. The anime just suffers a lot from it. Watching the protag carry his friend through a warzone for a whole epoisde was funny enough for me to place it higher.
