I find it mildly disturbing how car drivers view their vehicles as actual extensions of themselves. It honestly seems horrifying to have your life centered around your car. I've seen people prioritize buying gas over food and making car payments over paying rent. In a way, for a lot of people keeping their car and making sure it runs is more important than living.
