Is that pic real, OP?

Snakefags are weird as fuck. They keep their pets in tiny concentration camp style drawers and treat them like sneakers. At least fish people like to look at their pets
>>
no more weird than having a cat

Do snakes have souls?

A cat feels love for you, a snake does not.

Yeah, I don't think keeping a snake in that kind of box is right. But in a large enough terrarium snakes live good lives.

Reptile brains are different, they don't really feel love or sad, they have basic emotions like fear, stress, anxiety, excitement, and contentment. They generally just think eat, drink, stay safe, sleep. Reptiles are generally content to just sit there all day doing nothing as long as they have a good spot. Meaning proper heating, a place to hide, food and water. Some reptiles tolerate being handled, but none really enjoy it. A snake in the wild will have to deal with predators, starvation, sickness, thirst and generally living in a dangerous world, in captivity as long as its humane it lives in basically snake heaven.
