I've gone through the entire buffet of "antidepressants", "mood stabilizers", antihistamines, etc. I have felt jack shit from either of them. Not effects, side-effects, withdrawals, etc.
I heard about "psilocybin" therapy studies, but those aren't performed where I live. Is it something I could/should try at home?

as long as the ptsd isn't actively tormenting you on a weekly basis you should be good to go.

sorry to hear that anon :(
Better not then, I'd opt for ketamine instead since a bad ketamine trip isn't as bad as a bad shroom trip, but if you have benzos as a trip killer it should be ok? idunno though I haven't taken benzos on psychs before that's just what I heard.

Okay, so, take what I say with a grain of salt because it is all anecdotal and it's up to you to make good decisions for yourself, yada yada. But, I have cPTSD and have tried just about every well-known psychedelic at least once.
Mushrooms were one of my first. A few things you may want to be aware of:
You may be hypersensitive to psychedelics like me. I believe this is due to the way cPTSD affects the nervous system. Mind your dosage.
Your body is going to feel fucking weird. For people with cPTSD, we are often disconnected from our bodies. You are going to feel so much that you have never felt before. In complex trauma, the body tends to literally store the emotions it wasn't able to feel. You may become aware of certain holding points. I recommend looking into somatic experiencing before you take your dose, and learn some vagal release techniques.
You will not be in control of this experience. You have to remind yourself to give up the reigns, which can be difficult for people like us. Do not fear what you experience or think. Do not fear the drug. You will go back to normal, but it may take some time.
Your worldview may shift and you may have some lingering post-trip effects. Keep a journal and document any changes.
Best of luck, anon. Psychedelics helped me a ton, but they're not a miracle cure and you still have to do the work after. Let them guide you in the right direction, though.
