I watched a documentary on the food industry in like 7th grade and yet every single year vegans keep showing me the exact same video (yes I know they're all TECHNICALLY different videos but they're beat for beat the same video every time) and act like it's some kind of new groundbreaking discovery that animals die so that people can eat meat. But show me another bloody dead cow/pig hanging from a hook with sad looking eyes surely the 15th time I'm shown the exact same imagery I'll finally get it and go vegan. Maybe even throw in a chicken too fat to walk or dead baby cows sacrificed to keep milk cows forever recently pregnant or dead male baby chickens if you're feeling daring today. They simply slaughtered the extra animals en masse, and probably turned them into fertilizer or incinerated them or whatever. These animals suffered immensely because they had to dispose of them quickly, so they basically just steamed them alive in the case of most of the pigs in the US. So, the excess demand for meat directly caused the suffering of a multitude of animals, not just correlated with it (if a proportion of people didn't eat meat before this happened, there would have been less pigs to dispose of).... And how am i supporting the factories or slaughter plants if I'm not consuming their products again?
