I dont watch him often but I did used to think he made a lot of shit up. All these inexplicably catastrophic, amusingly endearing failures were just too convenient.
I watched one video where he described going to a bar and getting into a comically stupid situation. I thought he was lying, like as an excuse for not wanting to go out again. Then he played a phone recording of everything and it played out exactly as he had claimed. The real world actually is broken beyond belief. I tend to forget because of how isolated I am.
