These "trolls" enjoy going into threads and trying to derail them in various ways in order to generate "lulz" aka amusement at causing negative emotional reactions in others. I hope this helps you understand why pictures of ugly women appear in threads otherwise containing attractive women and how commenting on that fact actually plays directly into the hands of these "trolls."
