They have always had happy trigger fingers (especially on /a/) but the way they hand out the ban reasons these days is cringe. Often the ban reason is completely unrelated to what you posted so it's unclear to even why you got banned. It feels corporate, and almost like an AI is doing the bans. The recent leak showed that they have a "private ban reason" and a "public ban reason", which kind of explains it as the management appears to be disconnected from the userbase. This didn't use to be the case.

Every time I go on there, there's no less than 3 gay cruising threads at any time, if you post there enough you'll know what I mean, they never get deleted either.
Meanwhile all the threads I was in one by one get deleted despite being way more on topic (even if they're only tangental to video games)
