>>12655596>those were the only videos that had the print quality I was aiming forevery printer beyond 300 bucks basically achieves the same quality. the only thing that changes are quality of life features and how quick they can print at a given speed which doesn't really matter since above a threshold part strength falls off for every printer. bamboolabs is getting as greedy as 2d printer companies are so you gotta hack around if you wanna change some features which no other company does. and besides, most improvements are in software which can be retroactively applied to every model. tldr; stay away from bamboolab.

>>12655659its not very often that you see a recent model for cheap but if you are lucky you can score a used prusa. that company is not 100% perfect also but they are pretty close to it, being the ones that pioneered cheap desktop printers. I never had one cuz im poor but if i could go back in time and choose between a used prusa and a new chinese one i would go with the first option.
