Every living thing and every individuated object has a soul.For living souls, it is the spirit and the traces left by other souls (or just Traces). For object souls, it is, for lack of a better term, energy and its Traces. When an object breaks, we feel an amount of loss and sadness appropriate to the amount of Traces we have imbued it with, i.e. the more feeling we have for it, the more soul it gains. This is of course never at the level of a living soul and they do not have consciousness the same way the living has (I think they have collective consciousness its a whole thing, but its not like the stuffed rabbit dolla from Shin-chan that feel pain when you hit them and suffer, so don't worry. Although objects CAN suffer, its doing it more ike a secondary limb for the people whose Traces it contains; they suffer, not the object usually. If the object suffers, well... its not terribly important to delve into that right now. Lets just say no; you can't really punch a plushy doll and be considered a dangerous abuser for it nor does the plushy die per se; it just breaks. Technically, it does reincarnate, but it does so so fluidly that its not really the same thing.Oh by the way, people and non-human animals reincarnate. At first, the living soul just returns to the afterlife, which is kinda like one big giant soul that all the souls (oversouls I call them; they retain many memories from different lives and have the highest level of sense ever gained by the oversoul during its time in the living realm) live inside. I'll call this big soul the heaven soul. Then, the oversoul returns to a living body. Over time, as this process repeats, the oversoul kind of ages and assimilates more and more into the Heaven soul.This is not a process to worry about; when it happens, you are ready. There is a Purgatory, but its temporary and only for if you made very poor decisions or had a very bad nature in your previous incarnation that needs to be cleansed and trained out. Purgatory is a form of training more intense then that in limbo. >>12700561By the way, there's sometimes a particular place for people that lived as warriors that is a mixture of purgatory and Heaven where they do battle all the time and some of them leave that area, but some kinda just choose to stay. For some, its kinda like friendly sparring matches where you can't die, for others its torterous, endless war or, for a special sort of dark triad personality types, its just sea of red rage, a suffering they will not realize as such (although these ones will move on as far as I know. These traits do not exist in one's oversoul nor especially in the God Soul).Anyway, enough about the afterlife.Lets see... perhaps next is morality or something.
