American football is about advancing the ball down the field to score. The game starts with a coin toss; one team kicks the ball to the other.

The receiving team is on offense and has four tries, called downs, to move the ball at least 10 yards. If they succeed, they get four new downs. If they fail, the other team gets the ball.

On the fourth down, teams usually either punt the ball away to push the opponent back, or—if close enough—kick a field goal for 3 points. Reaching the end zone scores a touchdown, worth 6 points.

I had all of my recurring dreams last night. I'm lost in a forest and a river is between me and the city (ostrisized from society) then I was in my middle school hallway and there was a load of gacha machines lining it.

Then my dark dream I'm in some industrial warehouse and it's pitch dark and I'm taking dead elevators trying to get out and the last elevator had a zombie "professor" who chastised me, I tried killing him but he was invincible then I felt me bite his head off and I hit the button for the next floor
