i prefer 7up pinball over pepsi pinball because although pepsi pinball has greater presentation and fun animations, pepsi pinball is just too in my face, they organize the gameplay into rounds and have little bonus games, but all of their ambition lead to a worse pinball experience, i simply think it does not feel as good as 7up pinball, the distance between the flippers is far too wide on pepsi pinball and the ball often falls through the center without a chance to save it, poor bounce, and the aspect made it difficult to follow the ball, 7up pinball is more readable and its less confined to specific rounds and levels and is a lot more relaxing, i prefer the slowly changing quotes and the carefree attitude of fido dido then what pepsi pinball had to offer

I see what you're saying. honestly pepsi pinball looks like a real mess, like it would be nigh unplayable.

This is what happens when developers prioritize aesthetics over gameplay.

While both are lemon-lime sodas made by PepsiCo, Starry is not just a rebranded Sierra Mist. PepsiCo permanently discontinued Sierra Mist in January 2023 and replaced it with Starry, introducing a new formula and a completely different marketing strategy.

Here are the primary differences between the two:

1. The Sweetener
The most significant difference is the sugar source.
Sierra Mist: Toward the end of its run, Sierra Mist was sweetened with real cane sugar.
Starry: Starry is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is the same sweetener used by its main competitor, Sprite. (Note: PepsiCo does offer a Starry Zero Sugar option as well).

2. The Flavor Profile
Because of the different sweeteners and slight tweaks to the recipe, they do not taste exactly the same.
Starry has a higher citric acid content, giving it a sharper, "crisper," and more aromatic citrus bite. It leans sweeter and more syrupy, intentionally formulated to compete directly with Sprite's punchy flavor.
Sierra Mist was often described as having a milder, softer lemon-lime taste with a slightly "cleaner" or "drier" finish due to the cane sugar.

3. Branding and Target Audience
Sierra Mist struggled for over two decades to capture market share from Coca-Cola's Sprite. PepsiCo created Starry as a total reset.
Starry features bright, vibrant, neon packaging and a marketing campaign specifically aimed at Gen Z (using the slogan "Starry Hits Different").
Sierra Mist had a much more traditional, subdued brand identity that often highlighted its "natural" ingredients.

In short: Starry is essentially Pepsi's attempt to make a soda that tastes and feels much closer to Sprite, leaving the real-sugar, milder taste of Sierra Mist in the past.

ive been pinball motivated as of recent, its crazy how many of these they made

pepsi pinball could learn a thing or two from berry mountain pinball because it had berry nice sounds, more relaxed nature, it had much better minigames which although i dont care for, were faster and more to the point, it had these bowls of cereal that appear which block the gutters which i liked but i also dont like gutters being there to begin with
