Yesterday I took 36 benadryls expecting to either trip really hard or end up at the hospital again. Not a single hallucination, no spiders, no hatman. Fell asleep for 16 hours and that was about it. Did I do it wrong? Was I supposed to take more?

Because you are taking benadryl. Based on your post, you should be taking dimenhydrinate. when I was young and dumb, I would ingest 24 to 30 (2-2&1/2) packs of Dramamine original formula. you have to fight falling asleep, you'll be very cold with the shakes, and your limbs feel like they weigh 50lbs but most people will have the most realistic hallucinations possible and trip hard... obviously.

Not that I am aware of. I did a lot more DXM comparatively which I feel gave me long lasting or permanent closed eye visuals. IMHO the high seems to be like that of severe sleep deprivation, in that your mind plays tricks on you in a dream like state where reality and hallucinations can no longer be differentiated. Again because of the high dose and effects, this can't be good for the body....
