you know, for the average citizen the collapse of Rome looked like a whole lot of nothing happening. then one day the big bridge a few towns over collapsed, and no one came to fix it.the first man on the moon was just a day, much like all the rest.the collapse of the USSR was just a news bulletin.and 911 was something that happened to other people.the world won't end in a big ceremony.
