There have only been two times in my life when I've ever been high on THC. The first time, when I was 14, I had to smoke five joints in a row before I felt anything. Other times, I tried smoking as many as three joints in a row and felt nothing.

The high when I was 14 was sort of like everything slowing down drastically, and the thought of "passing out high" kept repeating in my head.

On Thursday, almost 20 years later, I got high on THC again, but this was definitely a very different experience. I drank 30mg of THC from those THC-infused beverages (I drank 3 cans, each one containing 10mg of THC). I bought six cans in total and I had planned to drink all six of them at once, but, thankfully, I stopped after three. Eventually, I was hit with an extremely unpleasant onslaught of massive anxiety, paranoia, and panicking, and I paced around the house in a state of profound mental unrest while also experiencing nausea, dry mouth, and vomiting. I genuinely felt like I was going to die.

Now, several days later, I'm still feeling the aftereffects, including nausea, trouble eating, greatly increased anxiety, jitteriness, paranoia, difficulty concentrating or paying attention, racing thoughts, and weird bodily sensations.

How long is this going to last? I was told that a THC high is pleasant and relaxing, but this shit is just fucking horrible. And why am I still feeling it?
