Cope-nhagen cucks can't handle the truth.Consciousness collapses the wavefunction.
>>16769338Interaction with the electron collapses the "wave function," translating a wave of inexact potential into a single energy state. The "wave function" is caused by errors of assumption. There is no duality, only wave.
>>16769355If a measurement device makes a measurement, the measurement device now gets entangled with the measurement, so it now exists in a wavelike state according to the scientist.Only when your *brain waves* sync up to the device, does the wave function collapse. Ergo consciousness required.

>>16769355>>16769387this shit is so stupid brophysicists are deeply confused due to being too autistic
>>16769338Tragic that this is still taught in schools. The reason that the electron slit experiment gives a different result when its being "observed" is because observing involves modifying the experimental apparatus and adding another detector. The detector hits the electrons with photons which changes the outcome of the experiment. Not so spooky after all, but still meaningful in learning about the wave nature of matter.>>16769355matter is a wave and the wave function is just our model for trying to compute the energy. it's literally in the schrodinger equation. The hamiltonian operating on the wavefunction equals the wavefunction with the energy as an eigenvalue. We just want to know the energy. This is what quantum mechanic calculations are about, calculating the energy of a system using various assumptions. Not abstract philosophy.
>>16769624The description you give is more a heuristic argument on the observer effect, it assumes a classical explanation. The idea of adding a detector as changing the experiment is right. The double slit experiment, as described as putting a detector at a slit, has never been done. The electron double slit simply observed wave interference through two slits. This has been repeated with one at a time particles. There's been some variation on which way experiment but its not a full on measurement. This idea first came from Feynman lectures AFAIK, as a thought experiment that in conjunction with your sort of explanation, of explaining why detecting which slit isnt possible. If we had such detectors that simply measure but dont change the experiment, we'd know what counts as a measurement and solve the measurement problem
>>16769338the wavefunction doesn't collapse.
>>16769624>not abstract philosophyPlease explain to me what is abstract about "Photons are not particles."
there is no wave and no function and trannies arent women, they are mentally ill men i dresses
>>16769338Uhh sweetie, the wavefunction is an abstract object that lives in abstract space (3N configuration space). There is no real collapse so to speak. Why do you insist on giving physical meaning to things that exist only in your head? I swear physicists are retarded. And to think people make fun of engineers lol.
>>16769878Hurr, the laws of gravity are abstract objects. Durr, they say I will die if I jump off a skyscraper roof but there's no real death, so to speak. Juggalos were right, only miracles having physical meaning.
>>16769878People had also believed that the E and B field were only introduced for mathematical convenience, until they were proven to physically exist. It's not so far-fetched that the wave function is a physical object, as well.
