There WAS life on Mars when there was water. Do you see any water now?
>>
>>16791587
if that's true the implications are huge though
means wherever there is water and mild conditions, life is a pretty much a guarantee
and not some 1 in a gorillion event like some idiots believe

There was life on mars. There is no life on mars.

It could still have been a 1 in a gorillion event to originally genesis but then it spreads from earth to mars or vice versa, so it needs to get started first but once it's started it can take on in hostile environments easier than once thought.

Dont they theorise there could be liquid water underground? If life was there it could have held on in a submartian environment.

>from earth to mars or vice versa
Wasn't Mars habitable while Earth was too hot? There was a reason why Mars to Earth was more plausible then the reverse.
