Numerous skin impressions of all types of larger dinosaurs (Sauropods, Hadrosaurs, Ceratopsians, Ankylosaurs & Stegosaurs, and yes Theropods) all show clear scales, armor plating etc.For sure some smaller critters had proto-feathers or true feathers, but the adult dinos people all love did not have feathers.Nobody gives a shit about chicken sized therapods.
