What would cause completely normal people to have a random traumatic psychological attack where they're assaulted by unknown beings and be left with missing time afterwards?Aliens aren't real but there's clearly something that's causing random people to lose their marbles with stories that correlate with one another. What could it possibly be?

>>16796358I have a theory that people frequently have minor strokes and aneurysms that mostly go unnoticed and may be responsible for these otherwise random unexplained mental disturbances. I myself had such an event. I had just boarded a plane and during takeoff I suddenly experienced very intense nerve pain radiating throughout my body accompanied by paralysis and the sensation that I was vibrating like a taught string. Lasted maybe a minute or two. At the time I attributed it to vibrations from the engine knocking something loose inside me but I can see how this sort of thing might be mistaken for the paranormal. I have since experienced the same vibrations in a state of sleep paralysis during lucid dream attempts but not accompanied by the pain and never while awake.
