Proof? Im discussing this with someone and I don't have a graphing calc. Could you by any chance type all that shit into one and see if it really draws yotsuba
>>
>>16799651
Most of them are literally Turing complete, anon. You can try to program any shit on them.
>>
>>16799652
Yes but that's not the point of contention. We are disagreeing if someone actually went to the trouble or If its a shoop
>>
>>16799622
If you're asking if those formulas draw Yotsuba, no, it's just a calculus student's cheat sheet. He probably has another program that just draws a bunch of line segments to make the Yotsuba picture.

No, obviously not

why don't you ask chat?

in all seriousness, it is easy to draw an arbitrary continuous curve, break it up into a parametric equation of x(t) and y(t), and then do a fourier transform to encode the curve in terms of trig functions.
however, note, that yotsuba is not made out of a continuous curve. so no, whatever this is, it is fake and gay. but you could come up with an expansion that did more or less draw that out.

side note, fourier transforms can be used to expand functions with jump discontinuities (they converge to the average of the two points that are part of the jump), but any finite expansion (read, what you input into your calculator) will necessarily be continuous

>I don't have a graphing cal
whatever you are using to communicate with, be it laptop, desktop, or phone, is a graphing calculator
there is no reason to buy a graphing calculator, even if you a middle or high schooler

>1 trillion piecewise functions
What's the fewest number of functions it takes to draw Yotsuba?
