>they're still using nuclear energy fucking earth niggers
>>16799960using antimatter would be cool, but production of it is very very very low.
>>16799960>they're still using nuclear energy>to boil water...>and spinning a turbine
>>16801104if it works, it works
>>16800144why dont we just print more antimatter like money
>>16801785you solved antimatter, anon, good job. now go sell antimatter for tens of trillions of dollars because it is the most expensive material on our planet
>>16801104>they still insert peepees into veejays and poopoos
>>16801104it gets extra depressing when you put it that way
>>16801796I wouldn't want to use such a discovery for my own profit. I'd use it to destroy India instead
>>16801104Helium-3 fusion generates a proton flux that could be used to generate electricity directly via induction. But, we would still use the tremendous waste heat to boil water to generate even more energy, similar to a combined cycle power plant.
>>16801802just the opposite, it is quite impressive actually. you dont have to boil water to spin a turbine, you can use windmills, dams etc. The fact that we can take any motion and transfer into storable energy to power anything we want whenever we want is fucking god tier. Be sure to thank a white person next time you see one
Current era: Nuclear.Next era: Solar. The good kind where you have huge solar panels floating in space and beaming the energy back to earth, not the retarded kind where you wallpaper an entire mountain range with blue glass.Era after that: Antimatter generated in solar-powered factories in orbit around the sun.Era after that: Won't ever happen because inevitably some retard will accidentally crash an antimatter transportation ship and vaporize the planet.
>>16799960>haha silly humans still using primitive technology>>well give us some of your technology then, mr. superior alien>noFucking ayy niggers
>>16802666i think fusion will make a showing, big centralized power grids can recieve space solar but for smaller and mobile applications beamed power is harder. Antimatter will always be too fucked as an energy storage medium unless energy density is paramount as in a spacecraft.Maybe at some point someone will figure out how to use artificial black holes for power, that could give a lot more wallop for a given mass of fuel than anything nuclear.
