>life emerged from pure chaos that happened to meet xyz conditions
>still can't be replicated in a hyper-controlled environment with xyz conditions

i guess XNA was a fucking hoax then

We are still at the stage of medicine where we are banging blocks together in the dark to hit a single enzyme out of hundreds that we don't even know the names of as the cutting edge of science

And you're out here talking about creating abiogenesis in a lab

We are tens if not hundreds of years from being able to simulate that kind of natural chaos which led to the formation of life in a tiny percentage of the time it proceeded
>>16804216
XNA is still faced with the creationist malding of how it got to the complexity of XNA

It’s had forever to happen. What are the odds?
>>
The odds are 100% since it happened.
>>
Abiogenesis is new age rebranded spontaneous generation.

>eplicated in a hyper-controlled environment with xyz conditions
That would be intelligent design. So even when they do it on a weekly basis, they can never publish it.
>>
Whatever conditions there were it may have still taken an ocean's worth of precursors millions of years.

Why are the xtards shitting up this board?
>>
>>16804669
Glownigger control, you will always seen it on "critical" themes.
>>
>>16804669
The only xshit here is claiming that you can take a bunch of inanimate materials mix it together and create life from it (literally spontaneous generation) except you can't replicate or prove but we must believe you since it happened under magical mystical conditions that you don't know what they are

For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.

If Abiogensis is real, then aliens don't exist.
Take three beliefs - big bang to the creation of earth, abiogensis, evolution. Each event is a trillion to one bet. Now, you not only have to win the initial trillion to one bet, you need to win the next two back to back in sequence.

The odds of this parlay landing are higher than there are stars in the universe.

14 billion years is only forever in a philosophical sense.
>>

It probably happened in gradual steps, without a clear dividing line between life and non life. Nowadays it's easy to look at a cell and see a self-contained molecular factory gathering energy and dividing using it's own personal genome and carve out a big divider, stuff inside the cell is "living" and stuff outside is "dead". But back in prebiotic days these processes were dispersed and not self contained. Lipospheres spontaneously formed and the membrane acted as a catalytic site for chemical reactions, the interior of the liposphere gained more complex molecules through these chemical reactions. Lipospheres exploded or divided like a bubble, allowing the exchange of molecules between other lipospheres. Is that life yet? From there it still takes billions of years to get something as complex as an amoeba so don't expect to find something like that in a simple lab experiment.

>trillion to one
1. where did you get this number?
2. how did you get this number for the big bang?
3. for abiogenesis?
4. for evolution?
i bet one to one that you go to church at sundays
>>
>retards will bump this thread
depressing 2bh

bump to make this guy seethe

We can change the odds around. It's still an absurd number. In a universe with trillions of chances, only landing on it once, maybe twice or even a third time is possible. But not often enough for all three to land consisently. We're probably the only space faring life form that will exist in this universe. No I don't go to Church, because I'm not gay.
