Though, how does this differ from Haber's attempt to get gold from the Baltic?
>>
>>16805479
Though, if pulled off correctly, I can see it being a net profit in terms of energy

Wait. Why are they putting uranium in the water in the first place?
>>
>>16807624
Seawater naturally has trace amounts of uranium (and a bunch of other minerals for that matter) dissolved in it. While the amount of uranium per any given cubic meter of water is trivial, the oceans themselves are giant, so the total amount of uranium in them is enough to power all of human civilization for millions of years.

>be xinnie the pooh
>sell a plan to mine the ocean for uranium
>global demand sucks out a meter per year of sea level
>carbon based energy completely replaced
>polar ice stops melting
>no countervailing sea level rise
>land bridge to taiwan
>profit

we could have been fully on nuclear a long time ago. We don't really need anything new. We need to have the desire to build things

Japan did that for them after the earthquake/tsunami. China just doing the world a solid and cleaning it up.
