this has been THE LAMEST hurricane season in recent memory
>>
>>16807395
Just a reminder that NOAA and all the universities that issue predictions predicted predictably that we would have an above average season. When anyone with any sense said that since it was a cold wet la Nina winter in the south, then according to history, i>>16807395
t will be a non eventful Atlantic hurricane season.

Climate change makes it increasingly difficult for scientists to make accurate predictions

the ACE is around 92 right now, which is in normal territory, so it's conceivable that it ends up above 126 (the above average threshold)
everything is just forming out at sea and turning east before getting to the mainland
since the summer was so fucking hot, it's also conceivable that october rather than september will be the most active month
but still, I CRAVE DESTRUCTION

There have been multiple Cat 5s and we've still got 1/3 the peak season to go. The fuck are you talking about?
>>
>>16807458
Accumulated Cyclone Energy is low so far this season

Trump/DOGE gutted all the agencies that do severe weather modelling and tracking so we literally won't know til they hit the coasts
>>
>>16807473
All the models are functioning normally. You are a retard and clearly have never used them or you wouldn't post something so factually wrong.
>>
I wonder what happened
>>
Climate change3 isn't cheap. This isn't the 2008 Bejing games anymore folks. We need to seed these storms on a budget.

it costs money for obama?
>>
>>16807494
Nope, all those programs were defunded and staff replaced with people who think hurricanes are the jewish god's punishment for abortions o algo
>>
Next year when we have an average hurricane season, the narrative will be "OMG! Hurricane activity increased 333% since last year. Climate Death is upon us!!!"
>>
>>16807762
Strategic weather displacement

Who could do that?
>>
Now after years of research, progressive climatologists who firmly believed on man made global warming joined hands in hippie fashion and fixed the weather

Worked better than installing "weather monitoring devices"
>>
>>16807473
I was just at NOAA and can certifiably declare that you are a dick shitting faggot.

Making use of an opportunity doesn't imply that those using the opportunity also created it.

I'm in hurricane country and got hit hard last year, but we kinda need one now. It's been terribly dry all this year and we need the big storms to come along and refill the aquafers, as well. Not a city-killer, or anything, but a couple Tropical Storms would be perfect.
