unironically yes
reptile meat lowkey has a really generic taste
One time I was working for the forest service and there was a rattle snake by our cabin and we had to kill it, so we decided to eat it as to not let it go to waste
I've also eaten alligator, from a touristy food truck in florida
They both tasted somewhere between chicken and pork
They didn't even have a gamey taste like venison or bear or rabbit
