I've always wanted to become an architect because I have lots of traits naturally inclining me to it but I'm not very good at mathematics, nowadays that AI has become a constant tool and automation and software are big part of any project, do you think it's possible for me contour my deficiencies without by any means neglecting them?
>>16811710Most architects that are employed right now make rural roads and strip malls. What exactly do you think you would actually be good at?I used to work for Gerald Hines. The architects that make big buildings don't post on 4chan. You would never make it in that world.
>>16811710having seen AI try to do engineering calculations (i'm designing a battleship as a hobby project), this will never work and if I ever hear an AI did the engineering for a building then I will not come within toppling distance of itgood news for you is architects usually pass the difficult mathy bits to engineerst. engineering student
>not very good at mathematicsyou don't need to be good at math to be an architect. Heck you don't even need to be good at drawing to be an architect.
>>16811710The work of an architect is 95% dealing with permits and bureaucracy. The designs copypasted and are banal, a few walls and a roof, standard designs where you wont be allowed to larp as a le grand le visionaire and you only have to make adjustments for topography
>>16811710If you like drawing since young then you are an architect and draftsman by nature. Still you need diligence to dedicate yourself to be a hobbist and whatever credentials employers are looking for.>MathematicsTool up. Calculator, symbolic math solver are all over the place, ask people.>AIPlease practice the responsibility of checking the output.
