My girlfriend told me she could hear my heartbeat on the wrong side of the chest. This annoyed me so I told her "My heart is located on the left side", but she insisted she could hear it on the right side. Is this actually possible or was she just saying stuff without realizing the correct side of the heart and then being too embarrassed to admit it?
>>16813521Reddit has a "complaints" board for complaining about various things and Chinese bots have spammed the board with only posts about MAGA.https://old.reddit.com/r/complaints/They completely took over the board and nobody cares or has noticed yet because we live in dead internet theory.Lol.
>>16813523Aren't you a chinese bot aswell? Your response has nothing to do with my thread.
>>16813532I'm going to be honest with you, I saw the reddit frog and as always I assumed that your post was completely off topic so I figured I could post anything I want in this thread because it's just a frog thread.Sorry, that's what you get for posting the facebook frog in 2025, lol.
>>16813535That's fine. Could you try to answer my question though?
>>16813521>>16813537The heart is in the middle-left of the chest but it beats louder on the left side. Hope that answers your question. The heart does not beat on the right side, it only beats in the middle of the chest quietly, and loudly in the left side. It has always been this way forever and it confuses a lot of people the first time they realize the heart is mostly in the center of the chest, I have no idea why it beats louder on the left for some reason the heart is just designed asymmetrically. The strong part of the heart is just coincidentally on the left side of it. Lol.
>>16813556Thank you. She was laying with her head on the right side of my chest. Are you saying she could have heard a quiet heartbeat? I'm thinking it was her own pulse she was hearing, since I can sometimes hear my own pulse if I lay on the left side with my ear against a pillow.
>>16813560You have high blood pressure which makes your pulse audible over a larger distance. Stop eating so much salt and lose some weight.
>>16813521Probably just high blood pressure. Could be situ in versus, but that's rare.
Alright thanks guys. Guess I owe my girlfriend an apology for not believing her.
you could have situs inversus
I sometimes hear my heart in my head so how is that a problem?
Your heart is on the right side of your torso
is OP and like half of posters ITT fucking retarded irl?you realize that sound can go trough human body right?and that you can clearly hear the heartbeat trough any artery in the body, including those in your arms and legs?in fact manually measuring blood pressure invilves listening to the heartbeat on your armthat doesnt mean you have heart in your arm you fucking mongoloids
>>16813521>My girlfriend told me she could hear my heartbeat on the wrong side of the chestPress your ear against something and you could probably hear "it" throbbing. You should have informed her that if she hears "your" heart beating that strongly on the wrong side of the chest, it's a sign of her high intracranial blood pressure, indicating a blood clot. How dare she accuse you of a deformity when her own faulty genetics are to blame?
>>16813521Possible, but unlikely. Situs inversus occurs about once per 10,000 individuals.
>>16815937>is OP and like half of posters ITT fucking retarded irl?Maybe it's the point of view? Nurses and doctors are trained to see it from the patients POV. For a girlfriend me will doubt that.
