>>16818730Am getting my Masters from Berkeley in DS, read research in an application area you care about until you understand the vocabulary and approaches and then everything else is trivial. Also have knowledge of some other discipline, its much better to apply DS techniques to novel real problems (talk to real people that do real things) than be the 10052152151th guy that used a NN on the housing dataset or CNN on orchids.
