Hey /sci/ I’m a creative and am in charge of some writing stuff involving an android/AI character, and some plot points. Problem with being a creative is that I am NOT a maths/science guy, I can do just about anything but that and I know I look super dumb but I need help here. I already had something set up for jewellery being made by characters but thinking about how copper is a conduit, couldn’t I also bring this back later as a plot point? The android character being told specifically not to touch the gold plated wire and instead the poly filled wire? Could the other characters use their own jewellery with copper to disrupt the android character, or help them depending on the plot? Maybe wiring gets cut and tying the jewellery to their wires helps them? I don’t want to be one of those losers that people look at the media and say “oh that’s completely made up science” and I can’t talk to my coworkers about it because I fear they’ll see just how slow I am when it comes to science where I’m otherwise respected and put on a pedestal.
