How do you determine if you're simply mentally unfit for math related fields? I had good math scores in high school, sure, but I just started in university this fall and I think I'm just not equipped mentally for that level of math. I'm putting an intense amount of time and effort to learn linear algebra and I'm barely passing. All my other classes suffer for it. No one will honestly say "you simply are not intelligent enough" because that's not socially acceptable, and it'd be seen as rude, so instead you'll be spun something about not putting enough effort in, which frankly is more offensive to me when I know I put in a ton of effort and take it very seriously. I had a TA from my class reach out and thank me for being the only student that interacts with the class material, asking and answering questions and such and that I made her job interesting instead of teaching to a silent class. That's great but I'm getting 60% at best. I just have to wonder how bad I'd be doing if I wasn't working on this all the time, and I can't keep sacrificing my other classes for this one. I'm getting indications that I'm just not fit for university even though it's where I want to be and I enjoy the subjects, and I don't know at which point I need to pull the plug and do something else with my life.
>>16825884You check your scores on any of a dozen or more standardized aptitude tests, you complete and utter moron.
>>16825889I don't know what that is, they don't do that here. They just check your high school grades for entry.
>>16825892>I don't know what that isI recommend you never try to find out. Thanks for playing. Better luck next thread.
