How does energy decide what it should be "aligned" to? Like how does energy that becomes heat exclude all the other forms energy can take on, losing its universal energy-like nature? How is that even possible?

For example:Create a mathematical formula for the conservation of energy of an object moving in an orbit. That's great that you have a mathematical formula, but you have assumed that the object is moving in an orbital shape. This is wrong because orbits are unstable. Forces of attraction will cause the two bodies to smash into eachother rather than stay in orbit. Just because an equation is mathematically true, doesn't mean it is how things will play out in real life. Especially when you make false assumptions, and ignore the impact of forces on an objects motion.
