How much does diet and nutrition actually play a role in development while growing up? I used to be an extremely picky eater and wouldn’t eat anything but junk food. I could down a whole bag of Cheetos and a 2-liter Coke like it was nothing. I eat everything now, but the way I ate before doesn’t really seem to have affected my development growing up. I look completely normal. I’m not overweight, don’t have bad skin or hair loss, and I assume I’m mentally fine since I graduated from college.
>>16830784maybe in your prime you would be a 160+ IQ genius but since you ate slop you got hardstuck at 115 IQ
>>16830784It lowers your adult IQ substantially. Brains aren’t magic, they need specific raw materials to grow and function. Having good genes will make you a little more resilient to a shit diet but you’ll still be dumber, shorter, and uglier than you would’ve been if you ate your salmon and vegetables.
>>16830824>vegetablesthey aren't anywhere as nutritious as the meme says. meat and eggs are where the real nutrition is. >you’ll still be dumber, shorter, and uglier find an example of a low meat consumption culture where the people aren't generally dumb short and ugly
diet is a second cause, (physical cause)which means it only matters if you believe it does.whatever diet theory you believe, it will become true for youif you "measure" then data will be created revealing your current assumptions
>>16830852your gut biome needs a diverse set of fiber to function properly, and there are no supplements i know of that can provide this to the degree where you don't have to eat fruit and vegetables anymore.just buy a bag of frozen vegetables and toss a handful into your pot o' slop while it's simmering if you can't be bothered to cook them on a daily basis otherwise.you could also blend them into a smoothie and chug it if you really really really cannot bring yourself to ingest vegetables otherwise, but that feels a bit too childish for me personally.i'd agree that you probably shouldn't bother getting all of your vitamins and micronutrients from vegetables though, multivitamins are extremely cheap and effective.
>>16830940trying to pass yourself off as somehow superior because you eat vegetables is extremely childish, where did you get that meme from? you got it from watching children's television programs. >look mommy i ate all my vegetables!!! am i a good boy now!?!?!
>>16830784Quite a bit, but let's talk about how obsessing over diet in adulthood is a sign of low IQ.
Diet plays no role in anything. The only people who deny this are browns coping for their inferior height and IQ.
