Scientifically speaking, how do you cure your depression?
>>
>>16835468
SSRIs help me a bit, but they're not for everyone. One thing that has helped me has been buying some wireless earbuds and finding a bunch of channels I like on youtube and I listen to it basically all day every day, even in the shower and stuff. I found some $20 earbuds that work pretty well and I've been listening to video game reviews and movie reviews and stuff like that. Just the constant noise and people talking takes my mind off stuff, even if I'm not focusing on it

microdosing psyhadelics and or ketamine works great

Keep your mind occupied with chores that you should be doing anyway.

for me it was originally mushrooms, then I got deep enough into meditation that I dont need mushrooms anymore

otherwise? diet, exercise, sleep, have a challenging goal to work towards that will take you a few years which you can grind away on 5-7 days a week

oh and dont make bullshit excuses for yourself to not be doing these things

Depression is the rational response to being bad at predicting things. If you predict being good at catching a ball, or holding a conversation, or enjoying a hobby, and then don't -> you recognise deep down that you can't predict when good things will happen.
If you predict failing and actually get mediocre results -> you recognise that you can't predict when bad things will happen.
Psychology and neuroscience reveals that people get dopamine from the moment of expecting something that is about to happen. No predictive ability = no dopamine.
.
Solution: Stay in a quiet, dimly lit room and do nothing. No chance of making wrong predictions.

amphetamines are the only true cure. everyone who says exercise/meditation/shrooms will heal you were never actually depressed to begin with, just failed normies going through a phase.

ignore logic
facts, logic, the senses, "reality" and memory are the "weight" that presses down

One of the better explanations of where it comes from but how can it be fixed??
>>
>what is happiness?
happiness is the perception things are good, for you (and things you identify with e.g. "my friends/family etc")
>how to be happy?
succeed, get what you want

however if you want out of the whole desire-action-achievement loop, you need spirituality

>The formula of my happiness: a Yes, a No, a straight line, a goal. Nietzsche
