I'm starting to think that science really was just a mistake. That humanity would have been better off without it.Regardless of what science has accomplished it's undeniable that it has increased the anxiety, confusion, and chaos in the world. It has given us more questions than answers. It really was a Pandora's box that can never be closed.
>>16837335Ted and Nietsche pilled.
>>16837335Sure, you totally have more anxiety, confusion, and chaos than those tribes trying to figure out which daughters to throw into the volcano to save the harvest, all those people dying of the plague in times of superstition, or the random cavemen getting chased by predators and leaving behind a bunch of orphans to get picked off by the rest of the pack.
>>16837335Sometimes I think it would be so much better if humanity never advanced and I was in the jungle eating bananas, walking around covered in dirt with poo stuck all over my ass fur. I like bananas.
>>16837343There wouldn't be bananas without human advancing to the point of large scale industrial agriculture where they can select for such things over many generations in a controlled environment. Bananas are almost entirely man made, lab monkeys are the one that eat them and usually they are provided old spoiled bananas since they age so quickly, that is the real reason you associate jungle monkeys with bananas despite jungle monkeys never really having access to bananas given how tightly controlled banana plantations tend to be.
>>16837335gay
>>16837351OK, insects then. I would eat the insects stuck in the ass fur of my chimp brothers and sisters. Better than dealing with all this "science" nonsense
>>16837411Nah without science you are a glorified botfly range, the insects eat you.
>>16837335Nothing wrong with science.People were the mistake.
>>16837335Can you prove your belief by giving up the modern technology? Your internet, your phone, your computer, your house, your heating, your electricity, your car, your food, your water. Lets see this belief in action
>>16837335>I'm starting to think that ??????? really was just a mistakenobody knows what you are talking about. nobody on this board can define science (im not kidding).>"science" is constantly changingwhat once was "science" stopped being "science" when "science" upgraded to "science">i'm doing "science", i'm learning "science", i have "science", "science" says...????????>its not "science" if it doesn't involve the "scientific method"maths not "science" anymore>"scientific" methodpeople were not happy with the real name of it the same way people no longer says "a chemical reaction is happening" but instead ""science" is happening"some consequences of not having a definition:>physics is "science", biology is "science".... history is 'science", politics is "science"... bakery is ...? masonry is...?>physicist? scientist. politician? not scientist>"religion" vs "science" (people also don't have a definition for religion)>your "science" its not entirely "scientific" because its not peer reviewed
>>16837414Insect overpopulation is largely a consequence of industrialization
>>16837611I do not believe you at all. In fact, I have multiple doubts about each part of your statement.
>>16837335the flesh and blood failed us desu
>>16837335thanks uncle ted
>>16837335Science is an emergent property of an intelligent species under natural selection and competitive sexual selection. There were never any "mistakes" or decisions at all. Adapt or die. It's not good or bad, it's just nature.
That's the whole point of science. Science asks questions, seeks answers, and discovers how things really work. That's how we thrive, and without science, we'd be stuck in caves
>>16837611Botflies aren't substantially present in industrialized countries and never have been, its mainly a third world issue where the third world country intersects with a culture that has a hands off approach to a nature that is considered sacred.
>>16837761Doesn't mean it wasnt a maladaptation
>>16837335retard take
>>16837335>that it has increased the anxiety, confusion, and chaos in the worldAHAHAHHA is this your argument? Science hurt your feefees?
