How old were you when you realized hermeticism/esoterica/alchemy is the true scientific method? What did you learn? It was later in life for me.

at the timestamp around 2020ish that empiricism and the scientific method answers the what but not the why. Unfortunately for science human beings look for a why- so sciencism steps in and does an inferior job than the one that, through archaeological record, seems to have a consistent thread to Sumer in the mystery schools, and they stressed the perennial philosophy, or at least considered why to be of equal importance to the what and the how
