How do I get better at Math? I've always struggled with numbers and equations to the point I was placed in Special Ed for Math and it has absolutely crippled my self-esteem. Are there any practices or source recommendations to improve my poor skills?

Transcranial direct current stimulation
>A brain device that can increase learning by up to 40 percent has been revealed by scientists funded by the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). While the device was originally tested on macaques, researchers said it could be a cheap and non-invasive way of "altering functional connectivity in humans" in the future.
>The device is a non-invasive cap that stimulates parts of the brain via electrical currents. It was developed by researchers at HRL Laboratories, California, McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and Soterix Medical in New York.
>In their experiments, the team performed "non-invasive transcranial direct current stimulation"—or tDCS—on a set of macaques. They stimulated the prefrontal cortex and got them to perform a task based on associative learning. In order to get a reward, they had to learn associations between a visual cue and a location. >The macaques would forage for the reward after getting the visual cue.
>The findings, published in the journal Current Biology, showed that macaques in the control group took 22 trials before they had learned to get the reward straight away. It took the tDCS group just 12 trials. The tDCS device accounted for a 40 percent increase in learning speed, the authors say.

>In 2007, science writer and editor Sally Adee attended a technology conference for DARPA—The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency—when she learned about a brain surface electrical stimulation method that allegedly cut in half the time it takes a person to go from novice to expert in sharpshooting. Known as trans cranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), the brain stimulation technique was also presented as a way to potentially speed up language learning and mathematical aptitude.
>Adee was struck by the idea of surface brain stimulation and for several years worked on convincing the Department of Defense agency to grant her permission to try it out for herself. In 2011, she flew from London to California to participate in an army training simulation. With a device on her head delivering electrical currents, Adee went from a frustrated shooter to a skilled sniper.
>Adee: The research that I was interested in ostensibly improved focus to let people enter sort of a flow state, which amplifies learning ability. Just so you know, what I did was just a Gonzo stunt. Basically, it was just “here’s how it feels to try this,” and it so happened to work really well for me.

>They kept putting me through these training exercises and I kept failing and being really overwhelmed. Everything was happening all at once—the fake people were running at me, and I didn’t know what order to dispatch them in. It was incredibly frustrating, and I had this entire script of self-recrimination running through my head the entire time. It was just vicious. Then I started just having really negative thoughts. I was thinking this is all garbage, my whole job is garbage—just catastrophizing.
>Then the tech came in and switched the current on, and it was like somebody had put noise cancelling headphones on me. I couldn’t hear any of that [negative thoughts] anymore. I did the training again and thought this is completely fine; I know exactly what I’m doing; what’s all the fuss? I was actually really enjoying it. >After three minutes, the tech came in (normally, the runs were taking about 20 minutes to get through), and I had dispatched all the bad guys and was waiting the next wave, and said, “it’s done.” I was really surprised—actually, really annoyed—because I was thinking so now, I get it right for the first time and you stop it early. I said, “but I’ve only been here for a couple of minutes.” She said “no,” and I looked at the clock and was shocked to find that 20 minutes had passed. The researcher [in charge] said it was a common response that time starts to fly quite quickly.

you could start taking peptides and or nootropics (not meme ones that are glorified vitamins) like Cerebrolysin, Semax, Dihexa, Isrib (make sure you dont have misfolded prions in you before doing this one, the covid spike protein had a prion like region and if you were infected or vaccinated you may have prion disease, if you take this you may create more prions, there are cases of people getting Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease after getting the covid vax, also needs DMSO to become bioavailable, dihexa does too), Epobis, ARA 290, Neboglamine, Tak 653, and Tropisetron to improve your energy, memory, focus, creativity, motivation, mind clarity, and enhance your ability to understand problems. Microdosing LSD and other psychedelics can also bring some of those benefits. They also repair brain damage, including age related degradation, and increase reaction time + hand eye coordination.
You can take them intranasally as well to get more of it directly to your brain, which is especially beneficial for Cerebrolysin since the alternative is injecting it and the recommended dosing that way is 5ml a day which is a lot to inject.
-rupharma.com has cerebrolysin + semax, cosmicnootropic.com has semax
-Science.bio has Dihexa and isrib
-pglchem.com and isrib.shop have isrib and isrib a15
-jennyschem.com has Ara 290 and Epobis but the 2nd peptide is not listed, you have to email them and ask about Epobis, I confirmed this with someone who bought it from there and posted pics of it + his experiences with it on r*ddit. Make sure you buy the pre vials and not the raw powder as the latter isn't ready for injection
-everychem.com has Tak 653, Tropisetron, and Neboglamine
Other good sources include peptidesciences.com, umbrellalabs.is, and amino asylum

You need to get your account approved by the owners of science.bio to purchase things on there, just say you are researching the effects of UV light on degradation of chemicals and look up a bunch of lab and safety equipment on google and say you have that in the approval form.
If you're interested in reading more about these substances I'd recommend the nootopics, peptides, and nootropics subreddits

Another substance you should look into is called Emeramide. From what I've read it's a revolutionary drug that crosses the blood brain barrier that is very good at removing heavy metals from your body and is apparently quite safe, I've read no other metal chelator comes close to it in terms of effectiveness. It forms non toxic bonds with the metals it chelates. It was developed by an anti vaxxer to remove mercury from your body that came from vaccines, which I've also read never leaves your body and instead just goes to a different part of it and causes problems there. Its also good at removing lead, arsenic, and cadmium. Removing mercury and other heavy metals that may be in your brain would bring mental benefits to you.
This site was listed by the person I heard about emeramide from on 4pol as a place that sells legit emeramide. I believe he also said 300mg a day is a good dose. You can find his posts by searching up emeramide in the 4plebs /pol/ archives

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is another thing that may interest you. It helped this guy being talked about in this video recover from severe brain damage

Keto diet, when you go on this and your body switches its main fuel source from glucose to ketones people report increased mental clarity. Also helps alzheimers which is known as type 3 diabetes. When your brain has insulin resistance and or can't utilize glucose properly you start running into problems. Switching your brains fuel source to ketones gets around that

DMSO, prevents strokes and reverses damage from them. Also can turn misfolded prions back into normal ones according to a study in the link below

Low dose naltrexone

Fixing gut dysregulation. There's a substantial link between the gut and the brain. Your stomach contains the 2nd highest anount of neurons in the body, right behind the brain. Killing off candida/yeast in your body using black seed oil, oregano oil, and NAC. Throw in some added biofilm busters since candida can hide behind biofilm. Should probably detox from heavy metals first as doing this can release heavy metals from the biofilm. Use bentonite clay (theres a good brand without contaminants named mediclay i believe) to soak up all the toxins in your stomach after anti candida and biofilm treatment. Drink raw milk and consume fermented foods to restore gut bacteria. I've heard raw colostrum is even better than raw milk. Akkermansia and lactobaccilus are beneficial bacteria you should be consuming, I believe catching covid lowers the amount of them in your body. Also take prebiotics like inulin to feed good bacteria

Suramin. Has been used to cure autism

Ultraviolet blood irradiation therapy

Intranasal deferoaxamine. Needs to be taken with intranasal rapamycin to prevent fungal infection. Removes aluminum from the brain. Also does something other beneficial things

>AF710B is a dual-action cognitive enhancer targeting both M1 muscarinic receptors and Sigma1 receptors
>M1 activation is one of the few pathways repeatedly shown to enhance cognition in healthy people
>clinical trials with M1 ligands (VU319, HTL0018318) showed high effect sizes on attention, memory, and learning
>M1 acts on the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, modulating delay cell activity for working memory via calcium and cAMP signaling
>AF710B binds the M1-Sigma1 complex, enhancing M1 allosterism at much lower doses than traditional agonists
>this dual binding drastically increases ERK-driven long-term potentiation (LTP, memory formation) without affecting long-term depression (LTD)
>preclinical studies showed 1500% amplification of LTP via acetylcholine at this receptor complex
>in rodent models, AF710B improved working memory and spatial learning beyond baseline, even outperforming healthy controls
>benefits were sustained 5 weeks post-treatment, and were dependent on Sigma1 activity, confirming synergy between both targets
>Sigma1’s role as a chaperone receptor further enhances regional neuroplasticity and memory consolidation, but human data is still limited
>AF710B completed Phase 1 trials with high safety and tolerability, and is now in Phase 2 for schizophrenia

This and the next couple substances ill post about can be bought at everychem.com
You can find dosing for them at the nootopics subreddit
They each cost an average of about $30 for around a months supply

>ACD856 is a selective TrkB positive allosteric modulator (PAM) and enhances signaling of neurotrophic factors like BDNF and NGF by increasing binding at TrkA, TrkB, and TrkC receptors
>Mechanism overlaps with many antidepressants and psychedelics, which also act as TrkB PAMs (e.g., psilocin, LSD, ketamine metabolite, fluoxetine)
>Supports the theory that TrkB/BDNF activation underlies antidepressant and plasticity effects
>ACD856 may enhance cognition similarly to AMPA PAMs like TAK-653, due to shared downstream effects involving BDNF and mTOR
>In animal studies, ACD856 reversed cognitive deficits induced by NMDA antagonists (MK-801), indicating potential neuroprotective and procognitive effects
>Also shown to increase endogenous BDNF in a possible feed-forward mechanism
>Passes early clinical trials with good pharmacokinetics and no significant side effects; 20-hour half-life improves over ACD855’s impractical 68-day half-life
>ACD856 can potentiate other BDNF-linked compounds, making it a strong candidate for stacking

>Usmarapride is a 5-HT4 partial agonist, structurally related to Prucalopride but designed for CNS selectivity to avoid peripheral side effects
>Demonstrated improvements in hippocampus-dependent memory in healthy humans in tasks like RAVLT and PILT
>Likely promotes BDNF release in the hippocampus, contributing to its antidepressant and anxiolytic effects
>Combination of Usmarapride and ACD856 shows strong synergy
>Usmarapride increases BDNF, while ACD856 amplifies BDNF activity via TrkB modulation
>This dual mechanism may enhance memory, neuroplasticity, mood, and resilience to stress
>Safety profile of both compounds is acceptable at tested doses; some users reported headaches with higher doses of Usmarapride
>The stack represents a novel nootropic strategy leveraging BDNF and TrkB signaling for cognitive enhancement and neuroprotection

The peptides SS 31 and Mots C are exercise mimetics that heal your body and reverse kidney disease. They restore mitochondria function and create more mitochondria. You can read reviews of them on reddit, lots of people say it gives them energy. Most people underdose them though, the clinical studies use around 40+mg a day for both of them. Recommended cycle length I've seen is 60 days. Its recommended to take supplements alongside them like TMG, NMN or NR, and some others. Just go ask ChatGPT what are some things to take alongside SS31 and Mots C and it'll give you recommendations. Theres also many other peptides like Ara 290, BPC 157, TB500, GHK Cu, and Thymosin Alpha 1 that can heal your body and brain
Here's the vid on the SS31 and Mots C reversing kidney disease. Maybe they could also reverse things like heart disease, vascular disease, eye problems, etc since damaged mitochondria are heavily implicated in the cause of those things. Could also make you smarter as damaged mitochondria can make you dumber

Here's 2 vendors that sell some of the above peptides, these are the cheapest prices I've found for them

(Remove spaces)

pgbmemberpass.com has Ara 290 (need to make an account, once you've done that you can access the item catalog by clicking, "My Account", then, "Orders" then, "Browse Products". They have a forum called pgbchat.com

Jennyschem.com also has Ara 290 (make sure you get lyophilized pre vials)
Id recommend using Meso RX to find new sources. Also check on there to make sure the ones I've listed haven't exit scammed cause that happens often in the world of underground chemicals

Taking a bachelors soon hopefully. Math is vast, what exactly do you want to improve at? There are apps for mental arithmetic I found helpful. Most helpful has just been grinding through courses and doing excercises. Finding daily uses for the skills or room to play with the ideas has been fuel for the boring parts.

Didn't go to special ed but did struggle in school, unconventional thinking didn't (and doesn't) suit the curriculum. Uni came later.

>>16867205
no. you either get it or you don't and it's obvious you are retarded
>>

Make sure you understand the fundamentals. It may feel bad to do it, but it may help to just go look at Khan Academy math catalog and just think to yourself how competent you are I. Each subject area. I personally did very well in high school but struggled in college call because my high school barely focused on trigonometry. You might just be missing a basic building block.
Then practice and take your time. It should feel intuitive.
It also depends on what your goals are. Are you just visiting this board because you know we do math here? Or are you hoping to be an engineer or something?

Perhaps most important is to consider your motivations. This place is full of insecure people who will do anything to feel smart. Some people are not cut out to be great engineers or scientists and that’s okay. I personally wasn’t great at math even though I wanted to be a physicist. I’m a lawyer now and am so glad I struggled because it put me on a better path. Consider your motivations.
