>LIGHT WILL ACT DIFFERENTLY WHEN YOU AREN'T LOOKING AT IT
>YOU CAN'T CHECK! IT WILL CHANGE ITS BEHAVIOUR IF YOU TRY TO LOOK!
>THERE IS NO WAY TO CHECK THIS, TRUST ME IT WILL CHANGE ITSELF!!!!
Im not believing this shit
>>
>>16869984
you are right to don't believe because it is bullshit.
"Observer" does not refer to a human; it refers to anything that observes, including cameras.
So, while light normally acts as if it were made of photons, it is observed to act like a wave when passing through a double slit, but otherwise it does not act like a wave.
The idea that a conscious observer changes everything is the worst explanation of the experiment because it implies that the observer must be human. In reality, the observer can be anything that perceives the light.
>>
detector detects what it's detecting but math says it can be another thing

why does it take 100 odd years to realize this
>>
>>16869996
>>16869999
SO you are telling me, that a detector, observer, camera, or anything real and existing, says the light does one thing. But "MATH SAYS ITS SOMETHING ELSE". With no way to prove it other than calculations? So maybe math is wrong??
>>
>>16870011
if you built it as a wave detector it will detect as a wave, etc, math universal realizer
>>
>>16869984
Perform one experiment get one result. Perform another experiment, get different result. The very logic of the interaction is different so the observation is different. What's the issue here? The notion of anything doing anything when it's not "observed" is metaphysics and not science.

Low IQ and irrelevant kneejerk pop-sci reaction.

When a photon bounces off a particle, the particle is said to have been "observed".
>>16870029
Sometimes, the bounced photon is really just a new one being emitted after an old one was absorbed. Don't worry too much about it though. It's like this whether you understand or not.

>Low IQ feels the irresistible urge to share its LLM "knowledge"
>Low IQ doesn't know if it's relevant or not but it will spout the thing anyway
>it makes Low IQ feel smarter
>it makes Low IQ feel a part of the discussion
>>

We know this to be true. If you were to look through the slit the particle didn't go through you would actually find another universe where the other particle that doesn't exist goes to. It's right there. Only if you were to look though. But don't look otherwise it won't work. It's hard to argue with this fact when you know the science.

wave and particle is not real but a construct related to measurement devices and mathematics

It is 2025 and they STILL believe this thought experiment was performed/performable despite the quack who coined it saying it wasn't

Yeah it's called "magnetism" you fucking retard. Imagine believing this translates to "having a speed".

Ask particle question, get particle answer.
Ask wave question, get wave answer.
Ask stupid question, get stupid answer.
People always seem shocked by this rule.

Skill issue. Skin color too, I'd wager.

wave-particle duality bros acked

You cannot observe without influencing. Why is it so hard for midwits to understand? Even in Electrostatics 101 the professor ought to have told you about the "sample charge" ordeal
