So, for the longest time, cannabis was schedule 3, so we couldn't research it. The government established that it was defined as inherently useless and harmful. The government lied.

In more recent history, no one was allowed to talk about transgenderism unless they supported it.

Why?

Now, it seems like the opposite is true,
nobody can promote transgender Science on x.com.

So, why??? Why do people ban inconvenient Science?
Why are Science nerds such good tools of the state?

>So, why??? Why do people ban inconvenient Science?
Well known and researched fact, science depends on ideology, many such examples in history. Why not to ban something that's inconvenient and gives no advantages like transgender topic?

>Why are Science nerds such good tools of the state?
Because:
1. They often depend on government grants or universities, journals depend on them, government is big source of money and regulation.
2. Nerds have very limited highly specialized positions. With certain stuff like positron tomography or particle physics there's probably less then 1000 positions in the entire planet. This makes them ultra vulnerable.

Scientists are often non-conformists inside but outside they fully support the whatever government and their biggest riot usually is an act of signing a collective open letter.

Thank you for such a legitimate answer.

Dude, I was following along with your weed/govt conspiracy just fine without you bringing up gender issues.
Eat a wildly foraged and misidentified mushroom or something.
>>

Actually thanks to the fact they legalized weed in California we now have many data showing that it's actually bad for health (digestion, cardio-vascular) and mentality (actually increases anxiety). Basically the same shit as alco and smoking. Government was right. Weed advocates were delusional

Medical science is, in essence, a conglomeration of enterprises which abuse the "scientific method" by portraying luck, ethically questionable procedures, p-hacking and biased methodology as if constituting genuine innovation.

Everywhere you go, you see medical professionals treating people with stuff that works and they don't know why it works and with stuff that doesn't actually work most of the time but that is still promoted.

If you've ever wondered how chemo works. It does by killing you. Works ok-ish for late-stage cancer.
Higher survival rates in cancer? A large part can be attributed to 1. earlier screening and 2. overdiagnosis which is counted as "remission".

Do you think, the pills shrinks hand out actually fix something in your brain? They don't but they make you drool out of your mouth so you stop bothering people.

This is hysterical.

You aren't wrong, just incomplete. We've learned enough about certain cancers, their root causes, and the role of the immune system that we now know we can cut back on certain treatments without harm.
It is impossible to do that without data.

I'm not going to lean into oncology because I frankly know too little about it. I don't know if rising survival rates are down to better treatment or overdiagnosis or just better diagnosis that catches it earlier or whether cancer technically outlives their hosts because the hosts get older and die of frailty or another disease. Some of it is probably down to how a pathologist explains a death and, at least in the USA, there are barely any legal or real frameworks that would allow for consistent interrater studies.

>>16878245
You want all deaths to go through a full autopsy?!? Who is paying for that?
Even then, you won't get agreement. Funny.

Everything depends on the dosage. If you smoke a pound of weed every day you'll get fucked up same as if you were drinking a liter of vodka per day

>no one was allowed to talk about
>why
because we live in a society where certain groups have bigger power than other groups and thus have the power to shape public discourse. society is great for many things, because one man can do barely anything on his own, but million men suddenly can specialize for certain tasks and together build rome. but as the system grows complex, the energy needed to maintain the "order" grows high too.

imagine how awesome world would be by now, if nazis didnt give bad reputation to eugenics. instead we now have hordes of midwits and population collapse in two more weeks.
>>

Thanks to the fact that they legalized shills, we now have many data showing that anything can be framed as bad for health if a competitor funds the studies.
>>
>>16878141
Are you quite done being a victim?
>>
>>16880130
Descheduling doesn't mean they will stop victimizing users, though. In fact they outlawed hemp while they were descheduling to make it even easier to victimize people who just want to grow a plant.
>>
>>16878212
Yes, but did the other one's decrease with weed instead being used. Maybe it's like the methadone for heroin. Find a quality drug that doesn't damage much to kill the pain. Because you are part of the symptom. Phycologists think hookers are there for the stress of some jobs from monitory perspective.
