Venus is the same size as the Earth so why does the horizon end after 50 feet?

They literally are fake and gay.
Most space pictures have artificial colorization, either because of necessity (radio or röntgen emitting objects were captured and would be just invisible without it) or because of sensationalism (look our 30 billion space telescope really is worth that much because it produces le HECKIN awesome space pics)
Actual space is not that amazing to look at. Its mostly red dots (red dwarfs) with some dark clouds (cold dust) and occasionally red clouds (ionized hydrogen)

One of my favorites. The red star in the middle is a very distant quasar. With the original resolution it looks much nicer.

>Actual space is not that amazing to look at.
Nope. You've never looked at raw data yourself. Have some fun, go ahead and pick some random data off the HST or JWST archive and make a pretty picture. Even in greyscale without any color the universe is very pretty.
https://mast.stsci.edu/portal/Mashup/Clients/Mast/Portal.html
Also the colour is not invented. It is false colour because the original filters were not RGB. But the colour is showing you real information about the universe. For example the colour in the image I show here clearly lets you separate the red quasar from the blue stars, because it has a different spectrum.

This is a Herbig–Haro object (HH), which are very young stars, which shoot jets of gas from their poles and have a protoplanetary disk.

>And what software do you use for the processing?
PixInsight
I tried 10 minute exposures at first but the comet became too smudged so I settled with 5 minutes. It still moved 7.6 pixels during the 5 minutes but I could live with that. If it was brighter I could've guided on the comet but it was too dim for that.

The structures in the pics are still there, no? Our eyes represent things one way. The camera represents it another. Who’s to say which version is ‘correct?’
>>
>>16883849
A lot of those pics are just radio imaging. For example in >>16879298 the gigantic pink clouds only show in radio imaging, in normal pics Hercules A looks just like any other galaxy.
