The odds of interstellar ETs visiting this planet are approximately zero.
FTL violates causality.
Any civ that develops ships that can travel interstellar distances will also not need to inhabit planets and would not have any interest in earth.
Although Im somewhat pessimistic these days...
I suspect any civ that develops ships that can reach a significant fraction of C would destroy themselves. The engineering problems of developing any ship like that (tl;dr I am certain the interstellar medium prevents relativistic ships due to extreme drag effects of any large object approaching c) are intractible.
Thus, even if life was common, interstellar civilization is likely physically impossible.
Maybe you can hit 1% of c and have big generation ships, but it makes the odds of ETs ever coming across earth approximately zero.

Anything made out of matter that approaches any significant fraction of c is going to turn into plasma and theres no engineering around that.

Even to get to the nearest star will take hundreds of years. To build any kind of interstellar ship that could even reach Alpha Centauri...impractical.

Even if life is common in the galaxy, 99% of it would be single celled organisms. Maybe 1% of it multicellular, less than 0.0001% of that might be approaching intelligent. You might get...1 tech civ per galaxy at best. Given the limits of physics, we would never meet ETs.

You could potentially wrangle a bunch of asteroids and build generation ships, build a microblackhole for mass-energy conversion, even then, cant hit significant fractions of c without your ship turning into plasma.
